Building an Economy that Works for Everyone

You made it snow – thank you for supporting EOI in 2015!

All of us here at the Economic Opportunity Institute are taking a moment to say good morning – and to say thank you.

Why are we jumping for joy in this winter wonderland? Because, even as checks continue to trickle in for our 2015 end of year campaign, we have already received $28,360 — a whopping 41% more than our ambitious $20,000 goal! And, just as each of your contributions add up to a bigger effect, for every $100 donation we received, we added a snowflake to our staff photo – creating this snowy paradise you see!

Friends and community members, we are deeply humbled by your generosity. This outpouring of support makes us even more determined to pursue and realize actual advances toward broad economic opportunity for our children, families, and communities.

In 2016, we have our hands full working for statewide Paid Sick Days, progressive tax reform, greater health care coverage, full funding of K-12, and better access to higher education – just to name some of the policies we are advancing.

Thank you. When we join together, we achieve more.

With much appreciation,
All of us at EOI
