The King County Superior Court will hear arguments about Seattle’s income tax. Please join us at the courthouse for a rally. Together we will get the latest news and take the next step forward in our movement for tax equity!

We know we have a long legal pathway ahead of us. The court may rule against the income tax initially because of existing legal precedent. But whatever the decision of the court, this fight isn’t over. Our work isn’t over. We want to come together to let everyone know that we are in this for the long game. We will take this fight all the way to the Supreme Court. We believe the law in Washington should promote a just and equitable tax system.

Please join us at the King County Courthouse, 516 3th Ave! The hearing starts at 9:00 AM. We’ll be gathering in the atrium near the elevators at 8:30 and heading up to the courtroom together.

Keep in mind you have to go through security to enter the courthouse, and if there are a lot of people this may take a few minutes. (Also note that there are no signs allowed in the courtroom.)
